Long time didn't post anything because was busy with some shooting, hope you will like it my next post! Here is the shot from early morning shooting (around 6 AM) , set my camera in the little hide from netting couple of inches above water level, the hide is actually set up for sun set shots but was thinking must be looking interesting do some frames against the rising sun.....
Night Heron, ISO 800, 600 mm, -1ev, F4 , 1/1250 sec, Gitzo tripod, Gimbalhead, what I like about the picture is the action , low POV, backlit, I am interested to know what you are thinking about the "landscape" crop, thank you for looking and C&C appreciated as always.

Love the low angle and good action as well Verdon. To my eye, looks a touch under-exposed and might bring up the exposure just a touch (maybe +.3 or so).

Excellent, Verdon. You really caught the right moment, and the low angle is great. The lighting is fine.

Verdon,
The "landscape" crop works very well, I also think a little lightening could work

Perfect timing Verdon. Love the setting but I'd be tempted to try something with the pale area behind the bird

Nice image Verdon, would have liked to see a larger crop from the bottom. The play with the reflection on the water is may have complemented the image.

Great moment of capture and detail. :wavey:
I would like to see more reflection but that is minor. :toast:
