In the late afternoon we were strolling around the pond in the hotel garden. I noticed these beautifully colored DF's. I couldn't get too close, but I think the 70-200mm lens did a good job.

D7100, Sigma70-200VR@200mm, 1/100,F4.5, cropped to 25%,
Sri Lanka, near Yala National Park.

I am amazed at the superb images you got in the hotel garden, Ellen, as posted here and in Wildlife. Excellent color and detail in the golden DF.

Beautifully done, Ellen ! Good choice of dof, with the further branch fading into the distance and a fine capture of the insect.
