The subtle backlighting accentuates the form of the bloom. At first I was curious why you chose to photograph the underside of the flower but after looking at it for a while I do like the repeated form in the petals and the leaves - perhaps that is what piqued your interest. I also like the combination of the purple and green in the OOF zones as they add some interest in other parts of the frame.

Love the slightly upward perspective and the superb color splattered background here. Wonderful !
