Reflected Glory

This is the first of images that I will post from a recent trip up to Southern Wyoming. This image was taken on a lake during sunrise. The color is reflecting off of the peaks which were illuminated by the rising sun.

I liked the warm / cool tonal contrast in the reflection and the contrasting texture between the water and the rock.

Capture info:
100 mm
f5.6 @ 1/40 sec.
ISO 100

Processing info:
RAW Capture
Plain ol' curves adjustment layer with standard s-curve
Ever so slight vibrance adjustment using TK's Vibrance Mask action
TK's web sharpening action with additional s-curve at reduced opacity
That's all folks

This is actually my first attempt at an image like this so all honest comments and critiques are welcome. :wavey:

Nice comp and colors. This works for me and I suggest clone upper small rock since it draws eye movement away and out from the image :toast:

I really like the light and color in this, Brian. I agree about the rock at the top. The contrast in tones and textures works very well here. Beautiful shot. :toast:

Love the sea of gold and streaks of blue in the foreground Brian. I also agree with cloning out the rock in the background.

Nice image, Brian. I like the golden reflection with the contrasting blues. Nice take on a sunrise at the lake setting. Well done. Chet
