Hello
I have taken this photo in 2012 in Arizona.
We were on our way to white pocket but got lost.
Time was at sunrise.
Nikon D700 , 14-24 Nikkor.
I would like to have your feed back.
Best Regards
Jamal Albadia

Nice glowing colors. There's plenty of interesting details in this shot.

The size of the rock on the right does a good job to balance out the visual tilt that is moving to the right of the photo.

Great shot and well processed. Personally I would prefer to have a bit more room on the right side of the rock.

Earthy and moody, I like your composition a lot. Something about the exposure bothers me though, The shadow and blue sky are a tad bit dark for my tastes.

I love the red rock desert. I'm curious about what is lighting up the foreground. I like how you anchored the photo with the large sandstone on the right. Just something about the lighting is different - and I can't pinpoint it.

I like the composition a lot and the beautiful martian like color of the FG. I do wish the darkness on the rocks could be lightened somewhat though.

Jamal,

I really like the colors, the soft light and the composition. I like old fallen snag in the orange sand balancing the rock formation.

Folks mention the rock being a little dark - well, I don't mind the dark, after all the light source is behind the sandstone formation. What I notice and I don't see mentioned, is the diagonal line in the sand that separates the formation from the tree. It's almost like a graduated, split ND was used at a 45deg angle to the horizon. The diagonal line in the sand doesn't quite line up with the direction light, which is what catches my eye. Perhaps the sand actually darker in the lower right, but it looks more like light and shadow to me. I minor, but interesting point.
