On my first night in the Northwest I was treated to this incredible light show. Needless to say, the next 16 days did not compare. Shot with a Nikon D800E and a 16-35mm lens.

WOW, I'll bet an incredible trip. To me this image is a superb capture of paradise, I'll also bet you're already planning your return.

An awesome spread of clouds and light here indeed. A neat combination with both lighting and calm waters too. A fine catch.

Yes, it is a fantastic light show and excellent composition. The lighting and color are very natural and the overall atmosphere is tranquil and soothing.

Beautiful capture Mark. Very nice sky and reflection. And the lightning is a bonus. Very nicely processed also. Very nice.

Wow, the clouds really cooperated for you! Beautifully done. Whoa - I didn't even see the lightning at first. Amazing.

The shoreline on the right does a nice job of balancing the weight of the trees on the left.
The rest is great without saying.

One of the better Trillium shots I've seen Mark. Great lighting and lightning besides! Simply excellent.

About the best light you can ever have up there. I'm sure you may wish for more reflection, but the shot is still great!

Very nicely done. Although the lightening bolt is small I think the image hold your interest long enough to be an important part of it. Sweet capture!

Nice picture of a beautiful sunset. Well captured and processed. My only criticism is about the rocks in the right corner. They break the balance in the picture and I think the picture would have been stronger without the rocks.

Gorgeous Mark! No controversy here on the reflection eh? Beautifully captured and processed - all looks spot on to me.
