Possibly the cutest of very small antelope here showing the flexibility of its long nose. Taken in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania early in the morning.

I like this a lot. When I went to Tanzania, I captured a photo of one of these guys, but it was not near as good as this.

That nose really freaked me out when I looked at the large image. I looked before I read and thought it was some sort of deformity... Tells you what I know about African wildlife right? I think the behavior really makes this shot Ken and adds a lot of interest. Nice timing.

What a face! I think the exposure is fine and you handled everything well. I would hope for a little less butt, mostly because wildlife seem to love to offer one an escape pose. Sharpness of eye detail is wonderful.

Jerry,
There are two places that I have visited where you can get reasonably reliable sightings of this remarkable little creature Ruaha and the aptly named Dikdik drive near Namutoni in Etosha.
Kurt,
The nose is extremely flexible and is used mainly for feeding and cooling

Lon,
thanks very much
