Sun set blooms

I took this photo about 7pm. I liked how the setting sun looked on the purple cone flowers and prairie shooting stars. Went back a couple of days latter at the same time and the light was nice, but did not have the appeal.

It is beautiful light, John, and I like the massed flowers. They also form a nice composition streaming across the frame at a slight angle.

That's nice, John! Had to see the larger version to appreciate the light. It's hard to make a nice composition with a bunch of flowers in a natural setting, but you have succeeded. Looks great!

That's a great collection of purple flowers with some fine warm lighting. The slight angle of flowers across the frame works well.
