Looked at these rocks a number of times but never had good light on them. This day was the same till the sun suddenly broke through the dark sky for a few minutes. Clouds were really moving so I took a second exposure for DR and to stretch them out.

Nikon D7000
18-105 @ 25mm
ISO 100
F22
Rev ND Grad

Appreciate any C&C as new to exposure blending. Thanks

I like the mood of this image. The longer exposure really helps. Blend looks good to me.

I think the blending looks pretty good exposure-wise, but there is a bit of a halo around the rocks. Other than that, a very nice image, those clouds are gorgeous!

Bill,
Beautiful shot and I like the processing.
Have you looked at a crop from above the trees?
Either way this is great.

Bill, this is great. Beautiful light and the clouds look super. I'm seeing a little haloing or maybe slight CA around the rocks that you might be able to fix. Other than than the blend looks great to me. Nice work.

I like the mood and the color in this. I do wish the left rock didn't merge the horizon, but it's not a deal breaker here.

Well composed - as if the rocks are about to catch the sun. Love the colors.

Bill,

Excellent job of handling the light and exposure here, with just enough detail in the rock with everything looking quite natural. Very soothing effect in the sky with the clouds. No nits from me, great job with this. The haloing and CA is very minor at this size.

This glows. The rich warm light softens even the stones. Very nice, indeed
