Literally!
Two young lion brothers having a bit of a playful tussle. I just loved the low angle (thanks to an underground bunker hide) and the soft pink of pre-dawn light.

Techs:
Nikon D3s
Nikkor 500mm f4 VR-II
f4.0 | 1/400 SS | ISO-3200
Pretty much full frame as shot

Stunning colours Morkel, the bunker really has paid off, a good find, hope it doesn't get swamped from these images. Like the interaction and not too shabby for Nikon @ 3200

Nice one matey :toast: :toast:

Excellent exposure and colors. As you noted, the low angle really adds to the image. It creates the feeling of being right there and getting low and hoping not to be noticed and become their focus of attention. :toast:

Really great shot here Morkel, I too love the beautiful subtle predawn lighting which together with this playful interaction really make the shot for me.

Nice composition Morkel and the pink sky is pretty special. The "droppings" (I assume) in the foreground are a minor distraction.

You already know the shooting angle is really cool. The lovely soft light, the pastel colors in the sky and the great detail make the image very pleasing to view. Only those OOF elephant boluses in the FG bother me a bit.
