I really like the colors in the flower. The way the deep blue in the center stands out against the white really works.

I agree, Albert! These flowers can have such beautiful colors. Your flower looks so nice and "clean" compared to mine which has lots of pollen covering it. Good details and nice natural background.

Beautiful image, Albert. I like the composition and color and your use of DOF really sets the bloom apart from the background

Very pretty, Albert. The surrounding soft greenery is a great bg for the star subject. :toast:

Albert:

Excellent take on this. The slight eccentricity of the flower adds interest. Love the colors. :toast:

A fascinating alternate view of a terrific flower. The colors in the petals are spectacular and the center with it's blue and yellow parts adds so much interest. I can see why these would be a gardening photographer's favorite.

Albert - As good as it gets. Great colors and gradations on the petals radiating from that purplish center. The little bit of yellows in the center also add to the interest.

Compositionally though I am not sold completely as the flower is looking left, putting it more to the right might have been my preference.
