Flakstad Beach, Lofoten, Norway

If you haven't guessed it yet, I love to photograph beach abstracts. This was taken on a Transient Light Workshop on our second visit to this beach.

Like a crater on the moon! What a neat abstract, Eva. I love that it has just enough of a hint as to what it is, so that I'm not too distracted trying to figure that out, and can instead focus on appreciating the image.

Excluding the pieces of plant debris in the scene this might pass as a aerial photo too. Excellent abstract here, Eva....

Real interesting abstract Eva. My only nit are those two small clumps of seaweed in the UR. The are dark enough that they grab and hold my eye. A careful clone job might fix it.

Eva, I feel the same about finding abstracts on this sort of sandy beaches. And I really like this one, perhaps unlike Floris I would lean my preference towards having a touch less context as to what it is but a great capture as is as well.

Very cool Eva! Almost looks like an arial shot of a large crater, neat! The texture in the sand in the larger version is wonderful. :toast:

Hi Eva :wavey: A fascinating array of form in this crator like opening. the delightful globs surrounded by the defined ridges makes for a marvelous abstract scene :toast:
