Eastern Kingbird

A pair of Kingbirds have built a nest on a limb of a willow tree overhanging the River near my home. This is the male taking a break from feeding.

Nikon D300; 400mm; f 5.6 @ 1@250th; ISO 320; approx 80% FF; HH from boat.

All comments and suggestions most welcome.

Steep angle, Tom, but I really like the pose and view of the bird this way. Gorgeous bg.

A good capture of a handsome bird. The slight glare off the top of the bill is a bit distracting; if it were mine, I'd be tempted to clean it up. Very nice, soft background with the whole bird sharp - well done.
