These guys were slightly smaller than the large red ants such as the one I previously posted. Wind gusts and in and out sun light as the clouds moved across the sky.

Nice front angled perspective on the hoverfly, John. I like the way your comp shows the whole hoverfly, but concentrates on the head. Beautiful bg as well.
