Echinopsis at dawn
by Giuseppe Guadagno
Ten days ago the little bowl of my Echinopsis in a small pot gave birth to a very big flower. I had to support it for avoiding its breakdown. It bloomed at 11 in the night, I took some photos at 6 a.m. and it died at 10 a.m.. Now I am glad to make live longer this nice flower which is allowed to live only a few hours.
At dawn in our garden.
D700, Nikkor 200mm macro - f/16 and ISO 560
Thanks for comments and advices.

A couple of minor observations -> I see two dust specks which can be removed to maintain the purity and freshness of the flower which is in immaculate condition otherwise and the small darkish triangle in the lower right corner.
