I did a shoot awhile back, across the street from where I used to live. It's the area where I started enjoying photography.

Here is one shot, maybe my favorite from that day. A gorgeous morning and a beautiful spot. D60 at the time, the data is showing ISO-100, 1/125th at f-5.6 and 18mm. Larger is posted, your C&C welcomed.

I can see a crop of the sky is in order--wish I had the newer camera and knowledge at the time this was taken.

Hi Bill: A nice scene, but the processing on this image doesn't seem to work. As you noted, the sky could be cropped. As presented, it has a very odd color with what looks like some very heavy use of some sort of shadow / highlight adjustment. The reflection of the sky in the water at the very front of the image feels more natural. I'd love to see what the original RAW file looked like.

Keith, you nailed it, there is something really funky with parts of the scene, and I agree it's processing. This may have even been before I was using Elements and used an HP printer program instead. I'll try to go back to the original and see if I can improve upon it. I won't bother posting a crop now, but will put up a new version if successful. THANKS!!!

OK--TOTALLY revamped the processing/crop in PS Elements. What a difference. I'll wait and repost that as a new image. Wish I took the time to do that in the first place. :frown:
