Churchill Manitoba.
These were accompanied by Killdeer and I was surprised to observe Killdeer so far North.

This is very challenging to expose correctly IMO and my PP talent is limited so here it is with minimal PP.

This is a very busy time of year at our farm and I have little time to post and comment.

1/350s, f/9.5, IS0 500.
600mm + TC 1.4 on D800.

Great find and well captured. I like that golden plumage on the back, and that there is a catchlight in the eye. Difficult exposure, I am sure.

Nice grassy setting and plumage capture. Wonder if you can bring out those blacks just a little? Nice comp. Sharon
