My Coreopsis flowers are starting to get into full flowering mode. I took this shot when many buds were justing starting to open.

Canon EOS 60D. 180mm macro lens. F/3.5 for 1/25 sec. ISO 100. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

What I like about this image is the fact that it has captured the flower in several stages of its bloom, great image! Good job!

This is an unusual, but yet, nice composition. This didn't happen by accident. Great color contrast. My only nit is that the tips of the petals are not in focus. I see you shot wide open, probably to keep the background blurry, but a stop or so more might have pulled the tips into focus without affecting the background too much.
