During one of our last exits we found this little field of wheat with many poppyes and fleur de lis. This one is visited by a bumble-bee.

Thanks for your passage and you comments.

I like the colors and the diagonals. The poppy is a bit small in the frame to have enough presence to carry the frame.

Very nice, D&L. Excellent detail in the poppy and I like the degree of blur in the bg.

Even though the red poppy is quite small, it still steals the show in the frame and the bg is blur is nice. The poppy however is a little too centered and cropping a little from the top and left and placing the poppy near the powerpoint is little more interesting.

Nice capture of the bug, D and L, and a gorgeous backdrop, full of life ! I feel the red may be a touch oversaturated, otherwise I like this a lot, especially the way the flower leans into the frame - very poppy-like !!

Thanks for the comments and the suggestion about the crop. We are a bit concerned about losing a good part of the colours in the BG. We'll try this.

Daniel & Loana, What a terrific background! I understand why you are concerned about losing colors in the background. Beautifully done.

D & L: My only crop suggestion would be to crop just enough from the top to eliminate the OOF red bloom in the ULC. Otherwise I like this very much as is. >=))>
