Moon Set

This is not Sunset or Twilight! This is mostly cloudy moon set.

I shot this yesterday morning at about 5am. About 4am I noticed the moon was popping through a partly cloudy sky. I headed out to my favorite spot (near enough to get to quickly). By the time I got there, it had become mostly cloudy, but I shot anyway. Available light was almost nothing. In fact, there was someone light painting down below me. I mainly wanted to test my new 6D's low light capabilities. It didn't disappoint!

Canon 6D, 17-40L @29mm f5.6, tripod, wireless release
4 image raw exposure blend, ISO 6400 0.4S, 1.3S, 4S, 13S.

It was much darker to the naked eye than depicted here.

All C&C Welcome.

The partial house in the lrf is distracting and adds nothing to the scene.
Nr in 6d looks great..

This is a very cool scene! Even though the image is brighter than what the naked eye saw, it still looks like nighttime. The colors in the sky are beautiful and I like the flowing water. Very nicely done!

Interesting image. Image looks good and clean for 6400. I agree with Rick about the house and LRC.

I like the scene, composition and the light. The only thing is the out of focus area in the lower left corner is very distracting a detracts from the over all image.
