Daisies?

I shot this in a parking area on the way to shoot sunset pictures. The late evening light was diffused by clouds. As I recall, the sunset pictures from that spot weren't all that great. I'm glad I stopped for 10 seconds to shoot this.

I copped it a bit, burned and dodged some. Other than that, it's pretty much as shot.

All C&C welcome. Like it or not, please say so. I don't takes nits personally.

I've been revisiting some older stuff recently. My 5D died, but my 6D arrives tomorrow :jump:

Nicely dimensional, with an excellent POF in the lower right intercept. Good color and bokeh!

I like the forms of the BG flowers in the frame Brad. The color is also nice. For me, I just wish that the blooms were in a bit better shape. I think that this might be a variety of coreopsis. I am pretty sure that they are not daisies.

Brad - Probably Coreopsis as already mentioned.

Love the nice grouping and the receding depth of field without being distracting.

Brad, I'll ditto the comments about the receding dof that makes this interesting and dynamic. I wish the left flower was either a little sharper or a little softer. Tricky stuff and probably subjective. Overall, I find this very pleasing.

Lovely composition, Brad, of some lovely flowers. Overall I like the dof very much, though just wonder if this would be even stronger if the second bloom were in focus. Beautifully handled bg.

NewB so I can't offer much technical input. Just want to say this photo grabbed my attention - the detail is perfect. The space filled in nicely. A lovely photo of one of my favorite flowers.
