Thanks to Lon, Howard and Brad for their constructive comment on my other image "Collie Morning" in Landscape Gallery.
This image was taken in cloudy cold morning few minutes after the one mentioned.
BG is a granite wall of a quarry for the construction of Wellington Dam in Collie, Western Australia. Now, there are some trees and grasses on more than half of the quarry and the other half is a car park for the visitor to the area.

Canon 5D III, 45mm, ISO 100, f/8, 1/15 sec.

I would love to hear your constructive and honest comments

Thanks, Mo

I like the way you've incorporated the seat in your comp. It makes it seem quite a contemplative shot with that empty seat, and it's nicely balances the tree too. Very nice Mohammad.

Mo,

I commented on your other Collie shot. Personally, I think the first one was better. Perhaps because I am looking at something similar for the second time.

I think the composition is lacking on this. The elements in this image are rather flat in this composition. It looks like an eye-level, vacation snapshot. Sometimes eye-level works fine, but other times, you need to get creative and shoot from lower perspectives or include elements in layers or at angles. It's a bit dark as well. It looks like the area could lend itself to some interesting shots however.

Google "Gavin Hoey 15 minute photo challenge." He videos shoots of challenging locations and shows how he looks for appealing compositions. It always shows camera setting, etc.

Well done Mo. I much prefer this one. Not only the processing/color/sat, but also the composition. The addition of the bench really adds to this. Excellent.
