The layers of varied color and the mountain forms drew me to make this image. Your comments very welcome. Chet

Another excellent landscape abstract, Chet. Well seen, captured, and processed to bring out the colors.

Chet,
DV is indeed a fascinating place and you've been doing great in capturing so many of the features that make it fascinating. I like the composition as is, but I also see to alternatives - basically splitting this in half where each left and right could make nice images as well. The range of earth tones and colors are amazing and the details in the larger version show well.
To my eye, the saturation is a little strong, maybe the contrast too as it's a little heavy. Not by too much and certainly just one person's preference.

Chocolate sundae with banana and carmel... I must be hungry! Seriously, this is a find. Love the colors and layers and forms in this nicely composed scene. With all the mellow color, the bright blue sky is a bit jarring, so comes the suggestion to consider fully abstracting this by eliminating the sky. It sure is okay as is, too, though.

Does look like a chocolate lava cake with lots of gooey delicious layers. This is a great image from DV.

I like all of the layers here and the colors work well. I am trying to decide if the sky is maybe just a little over saturated.

This one really pops. I like the layers and colors, and the blue sky compliments the earthtones. Fine work.

A nice study in layers and lines. The daytime light isn't as flattering as the golden hour where the sky might take on some of the golden hues and make the image more cohesive. Might be worth going back to this spot when the natural light is warmer.
