White Crowned Sparrow

Early morning in the back yard sometimes can be productive. This White Crowned Sparrow posed in an apple tree that usually hosts far more birds than apples. The odd looking bg is the peak of the neighbor's house, but I kind of liked the way it worked with the other lines in the image.

1Div, 500mm f4 ISL + 1.4TC, Black Widow on RRS legs, f7.1, 1/1600, iso 800, Av mode with -1/3 stop compensation. Processed in CS6 and cropped to 5.7 MP. Taken May 3rd at 6:49 am.

Your comments and criticisms are always welcome.

Thanks for looking,

Nice one Dennis - really like the complementary angles of the bird, perch and background
