Another image from Hayden Valley. Surprisingly, the area was practically absent of wildlife, so I decided to work on some comps of the river, although the light was less than favorable. Cropped to 3x2 aspect from 4/3rds original, larger image included.

Bill,

While the light may have been less favorable, I still think it's the kind of light that brings out the richness of the landscape; this is quite natural. Not really a major element to land on, but still a gentle and pleasing landscape. You might consider a slight burn of the clouds and maybe some contrast adjustment just to bring out a little texture and detail, but that's minor.

A quietly pleasing scene, Bill. Maybe not the best light but I enjoy looking at this. It does have a nice peaceful feel.

I like you comp Bill. I agree with Lon to some extent. I think I would increase the contrast slightly but this is a pleasant, relaxing scene none the less.

Nice image Bill. I like the flowing "S" curve created by the water and the reflections. I agree with the others about toning down the clouds a bit. This looks like it would be an excellent spot at sunrise/sunset.
