Working with a bunch of flowers which had sprung up due to the summer rains, and all of them breathing for space is one part of the story..the other part is that I was on experimental mode with extention tubes and 100 iso.

These flowers about four inches from the ground. Thought I would still post it.

Guess what ... 4.5 F stop ...

7D, 70-200 extn tubes..

Thanks NPN for your support

Beautiful, Balan. I love the glow in the main subject and the bokeh is exquisite.

Very nice mood, with perfect colours and POV. I like the DOF too.

A true summer photo. All the colors in the composition are warm and the atmosphere is exiting. I love this image, Balan.
Take care.

I love the light and I like the subject Balan. I really wish that the leaf was not in front of the right petal. That is quite distracting to me.

Lovely, but I would recommend a 5:4 crop cutting off the right edge where you have the high luminance yellow out-of-focus flower.

You have a decent amount of farily netative space on the left, and the part on the right is distracting, not adding.

Extension tubes or no, this is almost a fairy like image. Perfectly lovely! I am especially fond of the background with its dark to light living gradient. This just gladdens my eye! :toast: :toast:

Balan: I think this is terrific. The only thing that would make this better is if the blade of grass going across the main flower wasn't there but so it goes. Wonderful light, exposure and BG. >=))> :toast:

Love this! I like making these kinds of shots, too, with the extension tubes and all. The bg turned out really well. And of course the main subject is perfectly glowing. Nicely done. The comp is centered, which is okay; image looks stronger to me with a crop from the left to just past the dark oof flower. Then I find myself right into all the gorgeous color in subject and bg.
