Not so much a spectacular shot of the arches than a representation of the manner the park is maintained throughout.
the park is a photo set for people all over the world to visit and enjoy, shoot and take home memories.

Rick, another good image representing a more expansive and different view of the park. I like the cedar trees in the fore and mid ground and the sky color is well controlled. Chet

Lots of interest from front to back. IMO, this could stand just a touch of contrast?

I know what you mean... This is obviously not just a 'point and shoot' sort of pic, but I have some of my own from various places that are almost cell phone quality, that I still enjoy because of the memory. Looks like a fun area to hike around in!

Nathan,
something was bothering me too about this as I was trying to capture what I saw. Jumped up cantrast and looks right to me. Thanks :wavey:

Rick,

Ooh, thanks for the repost, much better. I was going to comment on the same thing, although if it were mine I might consider some selective darkening of the foreground area. In other words, the contrast/exposure get better as you get in to the frame, but still just a tad bright towards the bottom. color is nice and comes through well even though this looks like midday light and obviously a big, blue bird sky. A worth and well representative scene.

I like the repost! Mountains are just fantastic, but sometimes I get the urge to photograph the desert... It's nice to enjoy it through your lens...

Very natural color, Rick. And, a fine example of true conditions there.
