Back lit Gazania

Here is time of Gazanias now. I bought a plant in a pot for our garden.
This portrait was taken on the windowsill against the morning sun.

D700, Nikkor 200mm macro - f/22 and ISO 280. Edited for pastel colors.

Thanks for your opinions and help.

Sweet capture and composition. It looks like a watercolor. I like the way the stems create a left-to-right flow leading the eye to the centrally placed flower, and I like the color contrast and background. Definitely a wall hanger.

Gigi, this is a true work of art! Love the effect the backlighting has on the flower petals and your overall processing of the image. I don't think the comp could get any better than this either. A very stunning and beautiful image! I guess you can tell I love this. . .

Excellent, Gigi. I really like the way the backlighting worked and your editing. This is the second of your images that I recall having a look of a watercolor botanical illustration, and it's very effective.
