Folks,

I got to be beaten up for not having the dof in place. I was still get it in place when the cricket? took off. If I had tears for not getting something, then its today.

I was able to make some fairly sharp images, but it was on another flower. These flowers (ID?) were at about 3 inches from the ground.

Anyways I wanted to share with you what i missed out today

7D, 70-200 with extn tubes.

Thanks NPN for your support

Nice comp and beautiful backlit color, Balan. Too bad about the lack of sharpness on the cricket. :frown:

Not a cricket. Long Horned Grasshopper, I think. Agree with Scott. It is tough to hold focus with extension tubes. You have a paper thin DOF! :frown:

Beautiful colors and composition. I sense your disappointment about the focal plane. Thanks for sharing.
