Deep in the valley of the Kings, Waipio valley has some amazing streams filled with lush Hawaiian forest. This one stream flowing from the famous Hiilawe Falls. One exposure with a ND filter. Post process in ACR and photoshop. Aloha

Nicely composed. The vignetting and lighter background pull me into the scene. Amazing how similar this is to a Pacific Northwest spring scene.

Waipio Valley is on my Hawaii must visit next list.
I wanted to get there in 09' but got sidetracked to the Caribbean.
I love this photo. The vignetting, composition, processing, perfect to my tastes! Well done Tom.

Very nice! It thought for sure this was from PNW from the thumbnail. I was initially on the fence about the vignetting, but I came back to it and it really does do a good job of pulling me into the scene. Nice job!

I usually don't care for dark scenes but this is both beautiful and mysterious. Very natural looking light and color. Nicely done

Very lush looking and primal as captured. I like the vignette more than I thought I would.

Adventure, seclusion, danger...this picture invokes all of these things. Nice vignette, great colour. :toast:
