I was set up for the shot, but had to wait for the sun to briefly peak through to brighten the mood.

Hale Farm in Cuyahoga Valley NP, Ohio

C&C welcome and thanks for looking!

Jeff - this is a beautiful shot. Your composition is ideal, your DOF covers what it should, and your processing is incredible.

A nicely composed image, the fence leads the eye nicely

The fence is a wonderful lead in Jeff. Beautiful greens. Only suggestion I have is to lighten the tree branches in the upper left and tree trunks. A very pastoral scene.

Jeff,

Wonderful! I'm really enjoying the light and processing here. Much like your recent post in Landscape, there's a painterly quality to this. Most of the time, a fence like this is scene as a "barrier" or blocking because there is no break for the viewer to walk in to the scene. But I don't get that impression here and the lines and lead-in feature are working very well here. Excellent image.
