A view to the northwest across the Valle Grande in the Valles Caldera National Preserve. The middle of the three peaks in the background is Pajarito Mountain. Jemez Mountains above Los Alamos, NM.

Such an inviting scene. The light is gorgeous through the valley. The clouds look dramatic, a bit hot in places, maybe? Certainly a contrast to the mellow, warm light of the valley. Overall, a most enjoyable view.

Most people look past these scenes, I love them. Nice comp.

Lovely Spring color and light, and a very nice view as well. The comp accentuates the depth and space here. The clouds do look a little bright. Still, a beautiful image, Phillip!

What a beautiful spring scene and you've captured it so well. I really like the fg of wildflowers and the broken snag, also the contrast between the light and shadows. Excellent job.

What a great view. The interplay of light and shadow in this scene is very striking and those wildflowers are a nice touch, Phillip. My only suggestion would be to clone out that road.

Phillip,
You've done a great job of bringing the viewer right there. I can just imagine hanging out at this spot for hours, just taking in all the open and vastness. Oh, and the clarity and the distinct feeling of breathing in the clean, fresh air. At first I was thinking Montana, but yeah, New Mexico it is. ;-)
The only suggestion I have would be to open the shadows on the hillside in the UL just a tad. I understand the cloud cover creating a shadow, but the contrast is a little heavy in that area. But that's minor really. great color and light throughout.
