Nodding Trillium

by Wayne Bartz

Canon 50D w/ canon 60 macro
ISO 200, F11 at 1/4sec
Tripod and live view and 2 sec timer used

I normally would have used ISO 100 and F16 for a little better DOF for this shot, but there was a slight breeze so I did the best I could.

Well handled. It does appear slightly soft. Good use of equipment and good planning.

Wayne: Good choices are often the result of compelling circumstances. This works for me. Nicely done.>=))>

Nice job on the Trillium, Wayne. The dof is adequate. I do find the bright green oof leaves a bit of a distraction-particularly the one directly under the blossom.

Given the breezy conditions, this turn out well, Wayne. I think darkening the bg on the right would pop the trillium even more. Interesting to see a variety unfamiliar to me.
