Another from a moon light night at Funks Grove. Not sure why such a slow shutter speed. I was trying different combinations wanting to have detail in the moon and branches visible.

Canon T3i

Canon EF 70-300 @ 180mm

I like this better than your previous moonlit shot. The branches are more visible and I like the color of the sky. Even though no detail is visible in the moon itself, I like the lighting/cloud surrounding the moon. Did you notice two of the little branches appear to be holding the moon?

The branches show up much better in this version and that may be driven by the longer exposure. I like the dark blue sky and the right half (right 2/3rds) with the moon and branches. What you're seeing is the problem in shooting a full moon, the moon's brightness is the same as a reflected light daylight exposure (the old film rule of thumb was f/16 and 1/iso for a shutter speed when shooting the full moon) while the rest of the world is dark. In this case, your slow shutter shows the camera trying to get a good exposure on all of the dark area while still taking account of the moon's brightness. This is why any full frame including the moon that shows detail in the moon is a double exposure, one for the moon and another for the surrounding sky. The two branches "holding" the moon probably cross it, but those parts are completely washed out by the moon's brightness.

Nicely framed by the silhouetted branches John. I think the slow shutter speed gives a sense of motion too.
