These birds are for me highly photogenic and have a remarkable habit of following moving vehicles picking up insects, it is great fun waving your camera around trying to get one somewhere in the frame.
This was taken in the Savute Channel area of Chobe National Park, Botswana.

A Trick Shooter,
If you were also driving the vehicle, that would be even better . . .
Great action shot Ken. :toast:

Amazingly sharp for the shooting conditions, ken. Nice wing position and eye contact.

This is a very nice image, Ken, and a particularly interesting way to capture it. Nice work for fairly close range at 150. Hmm, I assume you weren't driving

Cool way to capture a shot Ken and nice job in doing so. Those long tail feathers are cool and like the open beak as well.

Mike, Dennis and Bill,

Thanks for your comments, the driving was undertaken by a good friend of mine Ewan Masson (Masson Safaris) who used to drive for Frans Lanting in the good old days

An excellent flight shot of one of my favorite species, the open beak makes it even better Ken :toast:
