Taken this Memorial weekend. I think the green mountains are as pretty as the fall colors so we took a cruise down the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Please let me know what you think.

I think they're pretty also. I like the way you've used the ridges to weave a tapestry of greens and blues. My only nit would be the tiny bit of foliage protruding above the rest on the left side. For some reason it draws my eyes away from the main subject.

Indeed a lovely Spring scene from the Parkway! I like the sense of depth that the layers of ridges create. Makes me try to imagine what would be behind the last ridge. Looks to me like the horizon is slanted cw; needs ccw rotation??

Great spring scene. I would agree with Catherine. The lower cloud base is often a good guide for the horizon especially with a hazy horizon. A carpet of green.

Nice use of layers to go along with some lush spring greens, Bob. I too think this needs a little CCW rotation.

Bob,

Really like the greens here! And the framing of the lighter ones up front work very well for the comp and still allow the viewer to enjoy the broader landscape.

At first the slanted clouds didn't bother me because the landscape certainly seems level and I suppose it's possible that clouds aren't always straight and level. But in rotating, the landscape doesn't seem to change too much, so that might be something to consider.

The light is diffused and works well here. What a view!
