Just before the sun came up it was turning the clouds on the western horizon pink as the full moon was moving toward the horizon.

Beautiful and simple shot, Richard. While technically this scene is not just lit by moonlight, the rising sun gives a lovely pinkish-blue color tint to the sky and provides a great backdrop for the full moon. The clouds are subtly shaded and nice details are visible of the moon. My one thought is wishing the moon was a bit lower and a bit to the left, at the "sweet spot" compwise, but very minor issue.

I like the sense of the moon peaking through the clouds here and the subtle color contrast between the sky and the clouds. The details in the moon are excellent and the warmth added by the clouds sets a great mood. There are several dust spots scattered around, but those are an easy fix.

The pink and blue balance the composition nicely and the colors are tasteful. Nice skyscape.

Beautiful colors, and I really like the general feel of this.
