Jacky Winter

Jacky Winters are confiding little flycatchers that hunt from a prominent perch. On landing they fan and wag their tail from side to side. Despite being quite plain they are a favourite amongst most Australian birders

I can see why this guy would be a favorite despite his subtle colors and markings his is very handsome. Nice capture! Have you thought of cloning out the two twigs at the bottom?

Great, Rob.
I'm with Craig, if this were mince, I would have cloned out the two twigs.

Sweet little bird that reminds me of our phoebes - fairly plain, but interesting and cute.
Nice pose, sharp detail, and good BG.
I don't feel the twigs at the bottom add anything, so you might consider getting rid of them.

Beautiful little bird and he picked an exquisite perch for you, Rob. I might remove the reeds or grasses in the bottom of the frame-they don't seem to add anything.

Love this shot. Is it possible to be soft and sharp at the same time. The overall quality is soft and dreamy, while the photo is sharp. Very good job.
