Nice contrast in colors and form -- Lots of what we consider "rock-solid" was molten once upon a time.

You sorted out a nice composition with a range of color and an interesting design that reminds me of choppy water. I like it.

Really nice abstract type image. The colors are super and textures add so much depth. This has a lot of interest.

Nice abstract Chet! The thumbnail made me think this was water as Catherine mentioned. Wonderful colors, patterns and textures in this stone.

A fantastic arrangement of colors, lines and textures in this abstract, Chet. Did you happen to take any diagonal comps of this scene as I could see that working also.

Really nice color, and a sense of waves moving toward the top. Very nice.

I really like the colors and patterns in the rock. A very fine abstract image. Ed touched on the one thing I was going to mention...consider a diagonal composition of a pattern like this next time you're in the field. Sometimes it can make for a more dynamic composition, particularly with abstracts. This certainly works just fine as-is though.
