We have had nothing but boring grey skies here in San Diego for the past 2-3 months so this was a nice surprise.
3 exposure blend. C&C welcome and appreciated

I didn't think the composition was going to be all that cohesive here from the thumbnail, but the more I look the more the strong diagonals throughout really work well together. That touch of moving water up very close is a nice addition. Great reaction on your part here to an amazing sky and nice work with the exposure.

Beautiful sunset and nice exposure to capture the scene. What is your thought on cropping about 10% off the left so the blazing cloud, water and the rocks looks like they are all fanning off different directions?

This looks really nice Glenn. I like the foreground shapes and the light is just spectacular! Well done.

I love the diagonals and the colors. The light on the FG is very nice. If it were mine I think I would take a bit off the bottom and off the left side. Either way I think you did a very nice job with this one,

Beautiful, rich color. Love those rock formations and angles of line. The large version shows the shadow details nicely.

Glenn,
Beautiful - and intense - color! Agree with Marc that the diagonals work very well, especially the wave line. Terrific foreground, excellent composition.
No nits to speak of, but a minor suggestion. There's a bright spec in the rock near to the right edge that pulls the eye a little. Might consider cloning that, but not a big deal.

What Marc said. I too did not think it was going to work, but when I open it up it took my breath away. Compositionally excellent. Fab light!

Cool image for sure, Glenn. Love the reflections and how the clouds mimic the channel.
