We sometimes have a variety of critters visit our backyard. One afternoon our dog found this very young Opossum trying to hide in some bushes. I picked it up and placed it in one of the trees next to aour fence, ran to get a camera, and came away with this.

Hi Leroy. Very nice setting and pose on that great diagonally positioned branch. I might add just a little extra sharpening on the eyes and it's golden! :toast:

I love these ugly little critters. They can survive just about anywhere as evidenced by my wife and I walking after dark at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim last Friday. This was the second time in a few months we saw different possums walking around down there in the bushes right next to the roller coasters and the crowds. Amazing. Cool shot.

I opened the larger view and studied carefully...and decided this would really meet the target with just a little more sharpening on eyes and forehead, then I read Gary's comment! I like the sense of a furtive demeanor this capture conveys. Thanks for posting it.

Well done LeRoy. I like he pose you captured and the nice details of the fur. Ugly creatures but beautiful at the same time!

Nice job on this little guy LeRoy, you've picked a great looking natural setting, good colors too.
I like the angled perch, light, POV, & overall comp a lot :toast:
