Bill:
Nice to the dark side of your photography Very interesting to compare the two images; same flowers but different mood. The high key is nice but I think I prefer this one more with the more saturated color. This is a very difficult flower for me and I have struggled with these (a similar iris japonica with white petals instead of blue) for the last 3 years.

This is sooooo darn gorgeous!! I love everything about it!! One tiny nit is that your white border makes it a bit too tight horitzontally but the irises are stunning!!!
PS I prefer this version!

Very nice Bill. Great blooms and a strong composition. I am surprised how different the high and low shots look. I am having a hard time deciding which one I like most. I think I give a slight nod to the higher key shot.

Another beauty, Bill. I like the increased sat, but probably prefer the earlier bg. Both are gorgeous. How about a version with a bright high-key bg?

Wow, Bill, this is just gorgeous! The colors and details are amazing in this beautiful flower trio. Great comp too. I like both of your versions of these flowers; can't really pick which I like better because they are both great in their own way. I do love the richness of this one with the black background.

I liked the high key, but this would be my favorite of the two. Can't think of anything to say but well done!

Excellent Bill. Very sharp and nicely lit. The colors came out great. Perfect!!
P.S: I like the dark bg better. Glad you provided both for comparison.
