This was taken last fall in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Streams like this are nearly everywhere you look. A very beautiful place to visit.

Canon 7D
70-200 2.8 II IS
Exposure not recorded.

C&C appreciated.

Thanks for viewing.

Very nice scene and plenty of color. The light is a kind of harsh and the white areas in the stream are a bit blown out.

LeRoy,

A lovely scene and one that I think would be even lovelier in some softer light. It's a great setup, but as Richard points out the light is pretty hard, causing the white water to blow out. One thing that works well and stands out is the back lighting in the trees - that is always a beautiful sight and is presented well in this image.

Hard to tell, but is that the road on the far right? I'm not certain so I'm not going to move this, but as a suggestion if you want to print this would be to crop that part out, coming in from the right a bit. I think that even improves the overall composition.

Thanks for posting,

Lon
