Gallery: Macro & Close-upPosted May 18, 2013112 views4 comments

Found this lovely lady (I believe it is a Painted Lady butterfly) on the flowers of my sedum plants. Taken last year.

Canon Rebel T1i. 180mm macro lens. F/3.5 for 1/800 sec. ISO 200.

Attractive open wing b-fly macro shot Carolyn, I like it.
Good choice to devote so much of the frame to the flowers, they make the shot!

Very colorful view of the bf in its habitat, Carolyn. I like the top down perspective with the spread wings.

Your Painted Lady is a beauty, especially set against those gentle magenta sedum flowers.
