A Mothers Love

We were very fortunate in seeing some nice denning Jackals in Ngweshla last year. We even saw mum moving her cubs, but they were too far away for decent images. This image was taken at a den closer to the road, still a little too far away, but when Mum returned the youngsters got a little closer

Love the look on the little one, nice family capture. I am jealous of all the light you get to work with out there. :toast:

Great scene. The coordinated colors between mom and the surroundings are neat and no accident, I'm sure.

Great light and subjects to work with, you made the most of it with perfect timing to catch the big wet kiss. Fine photo of maternal care. :toast:

Always fun to see the interaction between mom and young, and you captured it nicely.

I like the intimacy on this one also Ken. BTW, your large version is still the small version.

What a beautiful moment you witnessed here. My feeling is that the photo can be llightened a bit or maybe it's the white balance...but the white in the fur seems to yellow-ish to me and not white enough. But such an adorable shot...
Grt, Ingrid.

Ingrid,
Thanks for your comment, this was taken early morning hence the "yellow" light, at the time of year this was taken everything is extremely dry.
