Sphinx Moth

When I shoot Bats at night there are other critters that wander through and get added to the photo collection. There are usually a lot of these Sphinx Moths that also come in for a drink. If you are interested in this setup, please take a look at my last Bat post in the Wildlife section.

This is fantastic!!

Catching one of this in flight and at night is no mean feat. An the reflection is great. I am raising a couple of hawkmoth caterpillars at the moment and would like to photograph them when they eclosed; so I am heading off to the wildlife section to read how you did this.

Wow , Charlie, this is so cool. One of the best moth photos I've ever seen. Keep them coming. Anything else out there. Flying Squirrels? Flying fish?

Wow, what a wonderful image with the wings outspread and the reflection. I wonder if you could clone out the little white specks, which are a little distracting from this gorgeous moth.
