Mid morning and a Hooded Merganser gets in a few short cat naps.
Branch cloned out of LL quadrant that covered rear of tertial feathers.

I always look on those logs for resting wood ducks when I pass by, never seen a merganser there. Sweet Photo of this one Craig! Nice details and I like the bright eye too.
