Golden Paintbrush

An endangered species being reintroduces fairly successfully at a local nature preserve. We are starting to see self-seeded clumps this year in addition to those planted over the last several years. This preserve probably has the largest population outside a nursery of this plant.

5Diii, 180mm f3.5 macro, tripod, stack of 4 images,all taken at f3.5, 1/250, iso 500, Av mode with no compensation and no adjustment of exposure in post processing. I did some patching of areas of the paintbrush that lost texture in the merge. Cropped a hair off the left, but mostly from the right.
