I am not to sure about this as given the extremely difficult light or lack of it processing has been an interesting experience.
A long uphill walk in Andasibe National Park was followed by a sighting of a small group of these wonderful animals fairly low down in the trees/shrubbery.

EOS 1DX
70-200mm F2.8 MkII at 70mm
F7.1,
ISO 32900
1/250

Quite why I stopped down so much is beyond me

Not technically one of your best Ken, but those green eyes make it worth the post. :toast:

Sometimes just seeing an unusual and rare animal and then getting the bonus of a photograph of it ,makes it all worth while even when it is not your absolute best image. You have seen and photographed a creature that most of us have never seen.this makes it a most worth while and special. photograph and well worth the time involved in getting .
cheers. suzanne

It seems that I posted the wrong version, I agree that this does not work as well as it could do.

I have some more and hopefully images of the remarkable animals that I will post in the future.

The most unfortunate thing about photography is that you get no sound, the call of the Indri is possibly the most evocative sound I have ever heard.

Luckily we have it on my wife's video
