Martial Eagle

After yesterday's overly large crop I thought an almost full frame shot would be appropriate.
I have never got close to a Martial Eagle before, well not this close.
I spotted this one feeding on what appears to be a Genet in Ishasha, Queen Elizabeth National Park.

All the time we were with it it stopped eating and just looked at us, when we left it continued with breakfast.

Lots to like about this image, Ken. The eagle gave you a good pose and cetainly a most expressive look of "keep away from me and my meal." The exposure is nice and you have excellent detail on the plumage. Good comp but a little tight on the bottom. New species for me. Thanks for posting.

Thanks everybody for your kind comments, they are much appreciated.
Close crop at the bottom was to remove a load of broken and unattractive sticks. :toast:
